The Asquith offers classically French inspired cuisine, influenced by the finest seasonal produce served in warm, relaxed surroundings.

Located on Newhall Street, The Asquith Restaurant and Ginger’s Bar is situated within the heart of Birmingham’s thriving business district in close proximity to all transport links, main shopping areas and Victoria Square.

After relocating from its original home in Edgbaston, Glynn Purnell has re-opened The Asquith with the original team at the helm, securing the site to open as a joint venture which consists of a sleek cocktail bar and sumptuous restaurant venue.

The concept of Ginger’s Bar complements the restaurant perfectly, the theme adapted from the Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire era. The 35 - 40 cover restaurant is positioned quietly towards the back of the exquisite cocktail bar, where guests are greeted and taken through into a separate dining area.

Head Chef Jason Eaves works closely with Glynn Purnell to create a gastronomic menu, infused with delicate flavours and flamboyance, using only the best ingredients. Julie Tonsgaard continues as Restaurant Manager at The Asquith Restaurant.
